Analysing• The main protagonists of the

music video, it is nearly always a must that he has to be attractive so that he appeals to the target audience. In this case, Justin Bieber is very popular among younger girls, so he uses himself in the video.

Sean Kingston is the complete opposite to Justin Bieber, however he adds an edge to the song with his strong vocal abilities and Jamaican accent, which also appeals to a lot of people, i.e. Fans of reggae music may also find the song appealing

In this shot we can clearly see the costume, Sean Kingston is wearing plenty of jewellery, which is makes him look a lot more glamorous and enviable. The leather jacket gives him a “Hard-ass” and “cool” look, which is appealing to teens.

Both Sean Kingston and Justin Bieber look well groomed, this tells us they are metro sexual males, who like to take care of themselves, which girls tend to like.

What do you notice?Teenagers – In the video there is predominantly teenagers, if not all of them. The reason is because POP is mainly associated with being young.

The clothes are trendy, casual and very popular among teenagers, we can see a snapback hat, a hoody, t-shirts, jeans, vest tops. The clothing is bright and youthful, you wouldn't see elderly people wearing these clothes as they are trademark clothes for the younger generation.

The lighting is high key, to give off a happy, ecstatic, mood. The brightness makes the atmosphere more party like.

Establishing shot to show the surroundings and partygoers

The narrative is clear, that the people in the video are clearlyIn a party having fun. From the Lyrics we can definitely see that the song is about a girl, and two friends who are oblivious to the girls playing them both, we can see this through the video.

They are dancing in tune to the music, they are in sync, and going along with the beat.

The t-shirts are made from drop dead which is a clothing brand. They are promoting Justin Bieber as he is known to publicize the brand.
