WASTE.As country emerges from the pandemic, we will all have to find
ways to rebuild and to renew. Let this moment be a wake-up call
for all of us and opportunity to choose a different path-one that
ensures environment sustainability and resilience are the lens
through which we make decisions and map out our recovery.
RISE OF PANDEMIC (COVID -19) WASTE
On top of that, some members of the industry groups are taking advantage of the fear and
uncertainty around the pandemic to push suspensions or rollbacks of hard-won
environmental measures to reduce this pollution. They’re claiming “an abundance of caution”
as the reason to reinstate widespread use of single use PPE’s.
Following things to do to control pandemic (COVID -19) waste.
• Properly Dispose of used PPE’s and empty sanitizer bottles.
• Do not Litter PPE’s at various public places like park, market,
beaches, etc.
