What are Interactive Notebooks?

• A note taking process that allows students to record information in a meaningful way.

• A working portfolio -- all of your notes, etc. -- in one convenient spot

Maintaining the Interactive Notebook

• Bring your INB to class EVERYDAY (no exceptions, you WILL need it)

• Date and number each day’s notes *if you are taking notes on page 5 and you’ve run out of room, continue note-taking on the next right page but also number that page 5.

• Update table of contents • NO doodling that doesn’t relate to notes• NO ripped out pages or torn corners• Math related material only
