POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES/ ADJETIVOS POSESIVOS Los adjetivos posesivos en inglés indican a quién le pertenece el sustantivo, es decir, a quien le pertenece ese algo. Para que mejores tu gramática y logres un buen dominio del idioma, te explicaremos el uso de este tipo de adjetivos. Los adjetivos posesivos son usados antes de un sustantivo para mostrar la relación de posesión que existe entre una persona y una cosa o característica.
My Este adjetivo se utiliza para indicar pertenencia a la primera persona singular (yo). Veamos algunos ejemplos:

Your Utilizamos este adjetivo para indicar pertenencia a la segunda persona singular (tú).
I'm your father – Soy tu padre
His Se emplea para indicar pertenencia a la tercera persona singular del masculino (él) y se puede traducir al español como “su” y “de él”.
Barcelona is his hometown – Barcelona es su hogar
Her Este adjetivo se emplea para indicar pertenencia a la tercera persona singular del femenino (ella) y se traduce como “su” y “de ella”.
Her dress is blue - Su vestido es azul
Its Se emplea para indicar pertenencia a una tercera persona singular, sin especificar el género. Este se utiliza cuando hablamos de animales y objetos.
My cat doesn't like to sleep in its cage - A mi gato no le gusta dormir en su caja
Our Utilizamos este adjetivo posesivo para indicar pertenencia a una primera persona del plural (nosotros/nosotras). En español se traduce como “nuestro”.
This is our house - Esta es nuestra casa
Their Por último, usamos este adjetivo para indicar pertenencia a una tercera persona del plural (ellos/ellas) y se traduce como “su”, “de ellos” o “de ellas”.

DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS/PRONOMBRES DEMOSTRATIVOS En esta lección aprenderás sobre los adjetivos demostrativos en inglés por medio de imágenes, explicaciones, ejemplos y un video. Como su nombre lo indica estas palabras se usan para mostrar algo.
This:
Se usa únicamente para palabras singulares (es decir, sólo una cosa)
Los objetos, personas, animales o cosas a los que nos referimos deben estar cerca
Su significado en español es ESTE (para palabras masculinas) o ESTA (para palabras femeninas)

De forma similar a THESE, THOSE se usa para complementos plurales. Sin embargo, estos complementos deben estar lejos del que habla.

INICIO: SIMPLE PAST TENSE
El "simple past" se utiliza para hablar de una acción que concluyó en un tiempo anterior al actual. La duración no es relevante. El tiempo en que se sitúa la acción puede ser el pasado reciente o un pasado lejano.
Usos que tiene el Pasado Simple
Siempre se utiliza el "simple past" para referirse a cuándo ocurrió algo, de modo que va asociado a ciertas expresiones temporales que indican: 1.frecuencia: often, sometimes, always I sometimes walked home at lunchtime. I often brought my lunch to school. 2. un tiempo determinado: last week, when I was a child, yesterday, six weeks ago We saw a good film last week.

Algunos verbos hacen el "simple past" de forma irregular. Es importante tener en cuenta que esta forma irregular sólo se utiliza en las frases afirmativas. La excelente presentación de los trabajos, al igual que el contenido de éstos, es fundamental para el recibo y posterior calificación. Los envíos deben realizarse por los espacios destinados para ello y sin sobrepasar las fechas límite. El cumplimiento de las indicaciones anteriores se reflejará en la nota final.
Se evaluará el resultado de la guía a partir de una rúbrica de evaluación que de alguna manera sume los procesos y
otorgue una valoración sumativa del proceso.
