• Required & Visa On Arrival is the cheapest and easiest.• $25 USD processing fee payable to WET and $25 USD

upon arrival. • Minimum processing is 3 days. • A letter of invitation is issued to clients that they

MUST BRING with them and a passport photo.

Currency

• Vietnam Dong (VND) $1AUD = 16,000 VND• US dollars can be used in some instances but most

transactions are in VND. • Clients best to either bring USD to exchange to VND or

use their debit card to access VND from ATMs.

Language

• English is not as widely spoken as Thailand or Cambodia, particularly in Hanoi, where most taxi drivers have only limited English.

electric carts to tour the Old Quarter.

Politics - Communist

• The only impact of Communism on visitors is that you must submit your passports to hotels so they can register you with the police.
