ANZAC DayANZAC Day reminds us of all the people in
Australia and New zealand Who risked their lives for us. ANZAC Day is were Australia and New zealands gather at dawn to remember all those who died in
world war one and two. We remember all those who risked their live for our country.
What does ANZAC Day mean for us and what does it stand for….
ANZAC stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corps. It reminds us of all the people in Australia and New Zealand who risked their lives for us. ANZAC Day is the anniversary of the day the Australians landed in Gallipoli. On the 25th of April.
How was ANZAC Day originally celebrated and how is it different
todayEvery Australian and New Zealander light a
candle and all gather at dawn and remember all of the that died in the war. Today we also celebrate ANZAC Day at school. The first ANZAC Day was in 1916. the men who served at Gallipoli wore a red ribbon on the right side.
Other facts that I found out.
. The poppy is a symbol of remembrance.
. All the solidiers stand with the people.
. My great Grandad was in the war.
