WHAT EXACTLY HAPPEN ON APRIL 25TH?

What really happen was the ANZAC (Australian and

New Zealand Army Corps) troops were landed on the wrong beach. Despite heavy losses the managed to hold their own, but they were unable to make to make any headway during the entire eight-month

campaign. This is thought about the foundation for the ANZAC legend And is commemorated as

ANZAC dat today in memory of those who have fought and died to protect their way of life.

WHO STARTED THE WAR?

World War 1 was started by Austria-Hungary by

declaration of war on Serbia on July 28, 1914.

HOW MANY ANZAC'S LOST THEIR LIVES AT GALLIPOLI ?

The number of Australian and New Zealand troops including ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) casualties also ran high at 11,421 approx. (New Zealand:

2721, Australia 8700 approx.)

WHAT WAR DID THE ANZACS FIGHT IN?

The ANZACs fought in World War 1 because Australia and New Zealand were colonies of

United Kingdom and they sent troops to support the war effort.

WHY DID SOME SOLDIERS VOLUNTEER TO GO TO

WAR?

ANZAC troops volunteered for the war for many reasons, these reasons were duty, honour, peer pressure and the

seeking of adventure also they wanted to fight for our country's freedom.
