Each publisher is ranked in the local or the global context: To assign the Country RankXyologic sums up all downloads of all apps distributed by the publisher in current country. To assign the Global Rank Xyologic sums all the appsdistributed by the publisher worldwide. Since free apps typically generate many more downloads then paid apps, thereport provides separate tables for 150 top free and top 150 paid apps. Apps are ranked by the number of downloads they generate - the moredownloads in a month, the higher the position in the rank.Definitions:Country Rank - An apps rank position in the local context Apps Published Total number of apps published byor in the current country. The more downloads an app publisher in an app store and country.generates in this country, the higher the Country Rank. Monetization Type Indicates the revenue model. ThisPrevious Rank An apps rank position in the previous column may contain following values:month. It gives an idea if an app looses or gains popularity, 1) Free free app,and details its month-over-month performance. Apps which2) Paid app monetized in pay-per-download model,were added to app store during last month are indicated with3) Free + In-App Purchase free app with possibility ofNEW. Top 150 Most Downloaded Apps CategoriesThe table looks at the distribution of the most popular apps in various categories, and gives an understanding of what kind of content is mostpopular among users. It takes the top 150 most downloaded apps and looks to which categories they belong. Since the category distribution isdifferent for top paid and top free apps, the report provides separate tables for top 150 free and 150 paid apps.Definitions:% of Top Downloads The value tells how many Number of Apps Number of apps currently availabledownloads are generated by top 150 apps in given category into end users for download. Please note that apps that usedproportion to total downloads generated by those apps acrossto be available to end users, but were later deleted are notall categories.
