SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Maintenance strategy

Currently SAP offers with SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence a comprehensive BI solution.

The following maintenance durations apply for every release family of the SAP BusinessObjects

Business Intelligence platform:

Seven years of mainstream maintenance

Two years of priority-one support

For the BI Platform releases 3.1 and 4.0 the end of mainstream maintenance is reached end of 2015.

Customers should understand SAP’s maintenance strategy and aligned their own project plans

accordingly. Customer should consider to upgrade from version BI 3.1 or BI 4.0 to BI 4.1 to switch to a

BI version that is covered by mainstream maintenance.

Product Engineer on Demand (PED) PED is designed for SAP´s MaxAttention and Active Embedded customers

Technical Quality Mananger (TQM)

The SAP on-site team consists of a technical quality manager and several
