Kwaai Oak CTO, Reza Rassool, was the keynote speaker in a session at the DCIA Cloud Computing West 2013 in Las Vegas on Monday October 28, 2013 where he presented research into the technical and economic challenges of handling spike events in cloud platforms. He shared findings on the underlying impediments facing cloud-based sites to scale both rapidly and economically and unveiled a new approach, called HyperElasticity™, to overcome these impediments.
