Population: About 1.700 inhabitants

Inner structure: Four villages, Camps, Canet de Fals, Fals, and Fonollosa sharing a common Town Hall based in Fonollosa.

Economy: Mainly agricultural (1345ha) (cereals, olive trees, almond trees and vineyards) and cattle-raising (sheep flocks and poultry). Forestal area of 1575ha (pine trees, evergreen oaks and oak trees).

Health services: One Basic health center per village all them depending on the one at St. Joan de Vilatorrada.

Education: A Kindergarden and a second one project to start its construction this same year. A Primary School with a quality mark awarded by the Education Department of Generalitat de Catalunya. Music, theatre, plastic arts and dance are specially considered.

Transport: A taxi service company located in the same village. A bus service getting to St. Joan and Manresa all days of week. A special school bus service getting to Fonollosa(Kindergarden and Primary School) and another one to St. Joan de Vilatorrada(Secondary School).
