–  Classmates established as an early web dev co in 1997 –  Open for any custom web dev project –  Try and eval type of business development –  Very strong partnership with a German eBanking SW provider –  Steady growth, opportunity to obtain the Finance domain

knowledge –  As a subvendor got deals of the largest EU Financial Institutes GERMAN PARTNER BANKRUPTED

IND decided to buy out the German partner’s eBanking division •  Funding from VC •  Very strong growth indicators in all aspects •  Organic growth •  Key focus on not losing agility and flexibility •  For scalability a stronger emphasis on shifting from custom to product, from PS to Licence

–  Market intelligence and customer insight –  Presales/sales activities –  Market evangelization –  Product concepts, development and lifecycle management

•  Team setup –  5 Product managers –  Strong cooperation with: BC, Marketing, SWH

–  Market intelligence, customer insight: Analysts, Marketing –  Presales, sales: BC team took over –  LABS focus: building concepts and products, enhancing UX

Our lessons that (may) worth sharing •  Don’t start if you don’t finish •  Have a strong vision (Frustration Free Finances) •  Find the balance between time horizons •  Build a strong bridge between future concepts and product pipeline •  Run away from meetings where you hear ROI •  Maintain openness and encourage everyone to fail better DON’T FORGET TO ENJOY!
