Tatyana Navka

Tatyana Aleksandrovna Navka was born in Dnepropetrovsk on the 13-th of April,1975. Her mother was an economist and her father worked as an engineer. Her parents were fond of sports and instilled a love of sport to their daughter. It might be any kind of sport. When the girl was five years, her parents took her to the skating ring. She had an experience in skating, because she has roller skates. Tatyana doesn’t feel much difference between the skates or rollers.

Little Tanya bought ice skates when the girl saw Lena Vodorezova’s skating on TV. Soon figure skating took one pf the leading place in her life.

In 1993 Tatyana Navka began to storm sports competitions. Her first step on the big ice were the performances for the national team of the Soviet Union. Her partner was Samvel Gezalânom. Later her partner was Roman Kostomarov.

Tatyana Navka has two silver and a bronze medal on Russian Championships, a bronze medal in the European Championship in 2003, Navka was the champion of Russia in European and World Championships three times.
