Leading Up To Acts 3:19

• Presents from God’s presence: Acts 3:11-18

– The lame man was healed by Christ’s power!• Present of wholeness where he was lame!• We all can become spiritually whole through Christ

– The revelation of man’s feebleness and God’s perfect strength. Matthew 19:26

• The gift of faith in Jesus Christ is power! 1 Jn. 5:4

– The preaching of God’s Truth revealed…• Present of knowledge of the truth of the gospel of

Christ! Truth can set you free! Mt. 16:16; Jn. 8:32

What Life Can Be…• Life can be blessed by Jesus in His turning

us away from our sins… Acts 3:26– But we must first repent (turn from) and be

converted (transformed) so that times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord Jesus. Acts 3:19

– Repentance is the change of heart that manifests itself through our change of living. Acts 26:20

– Conversion is the complete change of life to a new creation in Christ. Rom. 8:29; Rom. 12:1-2

Christ’s Presence In Us…

• In Christ, we have the presence of our Lord. Gal. 3:27

• Christ lives in us. Gal. 2:20

• We conscientiously live in His presence as His people. 2 Cor. 12:19; Heb. 4:13

• We come before His presence in all forms of worship, personal and congregationally– Prayer, fasting, Lord’s supper, etc.

Hebrews 4:16; Matthew 6:17-18; Lk. 22:15-18

Times of Refreshing… From the Presence of Our Lord.

• Our hearts can and should be refreshed every day because we know that God’s presence is with us. Like Jesus, Acts 2:25

• We should strive to draw nearer to God daily. James 4:5-8

• We can be refreshed because we glorify Him in all that we do.1 Cor. 10:31; Col. 1:10

Are You Being Refreshed?

• You can be refreshed by salvation in Jesus! John 4:14; Ephesians 1:3, 7

• Be saved today, don’t delay! 2 Cor. 6:2

– Hear and believe… Rom. 10:17

– Repent… Acts 11:18

– Confess… Rom. 10:10

– Be Baptized… Acts 22:16
