BRIDAL SHOW GUIDE FOR
FIRST TIME BRIDES
So you are planning your Wedding and have decided to attend a Bridal Show!
Bridal Shows are a great opportunity for you as a consumer bride to meet with
many wedding professionals gathered in one location.
Attending a Bridal show gives you the chance to talk one on one with different vendors.
On top of all of that...you get a chance at winning many different prizes!
The following guide will help you prepare for the bridal event.
GUIDE ONE
Arrive in comfortable outfit
You will be doing a lot of standing
and walking. So make sure you wear
appropriate attire and shoes.
GUIDE TWO
Bring Someone With You
Having someone with you is always good for, second
opinions, suggestions and a fun night out. the best
person to have with you is your fiancé, however,
including the moms, dads, maid of honour, sister or
the wedding party.
GUIDE THREE
Create a separate wedding email
Create a special E-Mail address that you can
use for wedding planning. The use of a separate
E-Mail address allows you to receive emails for
the purpose of your wedding planning only.
GUIDE FOUR
Ask Questions.
Set goals before going to a show. Write
down any questions that you may have
for any particular wedding professional.

Have personalized labels or cards pre-made
At bridal shows you will have numerous
opportunities to enter contests for prize
giveaways. To avoid writers cramp and to save
yourself a lot of time, pre-print address
labels/cards
GUIDE SIX
Ensure you have an extra bag
Not all bridal shows provide a bag. Also, you may
need someone to help keep your hands free by
carrying all of the promotional materials you will
receive.
GUIDE SEVEN
Tickets, Contests, Draws or Discounts Offered in
Advance
Many shows will sell tickets or have free registration in advance of
the show. By doing so, the show operators have a rough estimate of
how many brides will be attending to prepare for goodie bags and
other small giveaways of this type. Often times by pre-registering
you may receive special discounts, enter a draw or win prize(s)
