DEFINITION & MEANING TEAM: A number of persons associated in
some joint action.TEAMWORK:
The process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve a goal.
OBJECTIVES OF TEAMWORK
• Work Efficiency: a) Accomplish tasks faster and more efficiently. b) Cooperating together on various tasks reduces workloads for
all employees c) Share responsibilities or ideas.
• Learning opportunities:a) Cooperating on a project is an opportunity for opportunity
for new workers to learn from more experienced employees.
b) Differ from one another in terms of skills or talents.c) Opportunity to acquire skills that an employee never had
beforehand.
• Productivity: a) A common objective of teamwork is increased productivity. b) Assigning multiple employees to the same set of tasks, more
can get done in less time which makes qualitative task.
• Economical:a) Workers become more skill-full of which reduce the level of
wastage.b) Increasing productivity by improving relation between major
parties in the organization.
