Sri Lanka is strategically located at the cross roads of both East & West sea routes.

Work is in progress to develop and upgrade port of Galle in the South and port of Trincomalee in the North coast of Sri Lanka. Newly constructed Hambantota port is only six nautical miles from the main sea route and it will be the largest port in Sri Lanka.
