• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is to prepare your website in a way that search engines can understand it better and show it in search results.• Optimizing a website for search engines is not only optimizing for

search engines but also well designed and developed for users.• Nowadays search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing uses so many

factors to decide a rank for website or webpage. In this presentation I’ve tried to include the major factors of SEO.

HOW TO DO SEO

• KEYWORD RESEARCH: Before starting to optimize website first you should know what keyword people use to find website like yours. You have to choose keywords that best suit for you.• KEYWORD IN META TITLE: After knowing the keyword for particular page

now you need to put that keyword in the meta title tag in HTML. Try to initialize your title with keyword and keep your title 50-60 letters long.• KEYWORD IN META DESCRIPTION: Put the keyword or synonym of that

keyword in meta description tag. Description should be readable.

HOW TO DO SEO

• KEYWORD IN HEADING TAG: Put your keyword in heading tags. You must put the keyword in H1 tag and try to use other related keywords on other heading tag including H2, H3 etc.• KEYWORD IN OTHER BODY TAGS: Put your keyword in other

necessary tags including P, span, article, aside etc. Repeat your main keyword 3-4 times and use similar keywords. You can find similar keywords from many tools Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest etc.

• IMAGE OPTIMIZATION: If you put images in your web pages than put keyword in the name of the file and alt text.• KEYWORD IN URL: Put your keyword on URL of the web page.
