Magazine/Poster CoverThis Is my poster/magazine cover to advertise Rosette’s album -’Be Yourself’ [1]. The picture will be of the band holding hands and walking off into the distance is a spacious background. This background will be showing the clouds to represent freedom which also follows the idea of being yourself that you’re not restricted from anything rather you’re free to be yourself [2]. The band’s name Rosette will be at the top in the clouds, and the album name will be just on top of this picture, near the bottom. On the bottom right, there will be a rating from The Fly to show the audience that this album has been rated 5 stars so it encourages people to buy the album, know the band and listen to their songs [3]. At the bottom there will be MINA Production logo alongside other small prints [4]. Beneath the album title will be text saying ‘the first album’ to let the audience know that this is their first album, and to know that this new band is becoming more popular [1].

The colours in this poster will be dark colours in the background and the text will be bright colours (such as gold) so that it matches the album theme too. This is also so that the text stands out so that it catches the audience attention.

The font will be something like ‘Monotype Corsiva’ because it looks formal yet elegant. In my opinion, if i used a formal font such as ‘Arial’, it wouldn’t suit well as it may seem boring and dull.
