Magazine cover First Draft

When we first began to create our magazine cover we decided to choose a photo of the two main characters to introduce people to them straight away. We chose to use Total film as the magazine as it has featured films of the similar genre on their magazine covers before. The film title on this first draft is different as we later decided to change the name of the film. We also have the photo a lot lower down than what it should be according to the magazine cover conventions.

Magazine Cover Final Draft

This is the final draft of our magazine cover. We decided to add pictures along the top of the cover to make it as similar as we could to a classic cover. In many of the total film covers the picture covers a letter of the logo so we decided to do that with our picture.The barcode that we included is the same one used in their magazine covers and we also included our own photos along the top due to copyright.

PosterFor the poster we wanted it to look like it was on a camera roll as we wanted our film to look like it was filmed on a phone. When we first created this we were told that it was very subtle and couldn't’t really notice the name of the film. We then went on to make the font bigger and bold so that it was more noticeable and stand out a lot more. we wanted to put actor names across the bottom of the poster where the album names normally are to make it look as similar to a camera roll as possible.
