YOUR TASK…In groups you are going to create a trailer for your own horror film idea, set in a college.

You will need to:

Tuesday

Plan and create a narrative Write a short treatment Create a storyboard following the iMovie template Present your idea to the rest of the group.

Wednesday

Film a trailer using the iPad Edit your trailer using the iMovie template.

At the end of the week your trailers will be screened and the best one will win a prize.

✔ Film trailers come in various lengths and versions, and are initially designed to intrigue audiences about the film.

✔ This type of trailer is called a 'teaser' and they contain 'enigmas' (unsolved clues as to what might happen.)

✔ Any trailers released thereafter provide audiences with further information and clues, in the hope of persuading them to go and see it.
