Finding Online Articles

THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT EL PASO UNIVERSITY LIBRARY

1. Go the library home page: libraryweb.utep.edu

2. Click on the tab Articles and Databases.

3. Select “A” for Academic Search Complete.

4. From the list select Academic Search Complete.

5. Click on the link provided.

Off-campus Access• Once you click on the database, remember that you will need

to authenticate yourself as a UTEP student. Use either the: • UTEP Library Proxy - this method will require you to authenticate

every time you access a protected resource (i.e., databases). See the tutorial at http://youtu.be/nYWghknnc0Y . Or use the:

• VPN Connection- this will allow you to operate as if you were on-campus and on UTEP's hardwired network.

• Now you’re ready to search . . .

Once in the database, complete a search for your topic.Review the online tutorials for finding your articles.
