when the user drew curves or deleted drawn curves.

Fixed Problems

(14624) In the model rotated the FFlex body, the display of the contact

icon was different before and after the simulation and the user could not

select the icon from the Working Window after the simulation.

(12413) The user could not input the name of node directly without using

the arguments list when the user created the expression by using the

stress/strain function.

(14828) The rfi file was wrong when the user generated a rfi file from an

out file that had two or more RBE3 elements using Output2 file

(.op2, .out).

(14836) The user could not import a bdf file that did not have information

of Asy and Asz in the property of PBEAM.

(14960) RecurDyn was crashed when the user clicked the Auto Adjust

button at the Patch Set dialog box for solid elements.

(15255) The result of stress was incorrect in case of the beam cross

section as circle and pipe.

(14524) The exported data and contour about a contact pressure was

(15213) The user could not make the *.rfi file with an error, when the user

selected "Output files (*.out)" in "RFlex interface" dialog box and then the

user used an *.out file made in MSC/Nastran 2005 version and included

the CQUAD4 element.

Fixed Problems

(14108) The free length of spring between TPBall and TPCylinder was not

updated, when the user modified the value of Maximum Disp. Of Check

Ball after a HAT model was made.

Fixed Problems

(15502) All data about result of Request was not written into the *.req file.

(15504) The result of draw was incorrect when the user inputted Scale

Factor for a gas force as Parametric Value.

In the case of multi-sheet, the evaluation method of the speed sensor was

upgraded.

(11287) The name of the event sensors and the results did not match.

(14991) The name of MotherBody of guides was incorrect if the user

imported the *.rdsb file that saved the name of MotherBody in English to

model using the name of MotherBody in Japanese.

Member variable GetReferenceFrameInfoOfCenterMarker was added to

performed with the static analysis using a model that defined AR as the

(10597) Refresh button in the 2D type of Signal Table block

The user can immediately apply the changed Num of Columns at the table

using the Refresh button in the 2D type of Signal Table block.

(10586) The user could not input a negative value as the X value in the

Signal Table block.

(12001) The result of PI shown at Result Sheet was zero when the design

study was performed by linking with CoLink.

(11178) The range of X-axis at the plot in the Signal Chart block is shown

when a block used PV if that was a large value such as 1e6, 1e9.

(12065) The evaluation method for stress and strain in Contour

The evaluation method for stress(S1,S2,S3,SINT,SMISES) and

strain(E1,E2,E3,EINT,EMISES) are upgraded with the MKL library in order

to get more stable and accurate values in Contour.

Fixed Problems

(8880)The ANSYS interface could not read an input file from Ansys

Workbench v12 or higher.

(12045) The drilling factor was not used in the solver correctly when the

user uses the drilling factor in the shell9 element.

(12732) The user could not change FC Load in the DFRA Excitation Loads

dialog.

(11368) The CPU time that was written in the message file was always

zero.

(12847) RecurDyn was crashed when the user opened a model that was

turned on the animation flag and did not include the animation data.

(11633) RecurDyn was crashed when the user tried to revert the mesh

repeatedly as following step: Create a body -> Mesh mode -> Mesh ->

Exit Mesh mode -> Mesh Mode -> Revert -> Mesh -> Exit Mesh mode ->

undo 4 actions.

(10504) The user could not navigate a body after clicking the Mesher icon

in the Toolkit bar.

(13038) The direction of rotation about Axis was operating in a

counterclockwise direction in case of the Spin type of Manual Mesh.

(12606) The size of created elements was too small compared with the

minimum size defined by the user in case of spline.

RecurDyn/RFlex

Upgraded Functions

(8638) Writing Node ID in the FEA loads data The user could input Node ID in the Views Loads List dialog when the Export Format was Ansys and the Body was rigid body in the FEA export

function. And then the Node ID was written data file. (9614) Supporting Ansys v13

The user could make rfi file using MAC file provided from RecurDyn that supports up to Ansys v13.

Fixed Problems

(11808) RecurDyn was crashed when the user generated the stress shape

using the rfi of Ansys Solid 187 element that was used the Remove Mid-

Node Related Information option when the user created the rfi file in

RecurDyn using the Stress Shape Interface.

(12318) The moment of inertia was incorrect in case of the Hollow

Rectangular Beam type in Beam Group.

imported an op2 file to the rfi file using Stress Shape Interface.

(7196) The user could not perform modal analysis using script file

(RecurDyn_fem.prg) provided from RecurDyn for solid linear tetrahedron

element of NX I-DEAS.

(12468) RecurDyn was crashed when the dynamic analysis was performed

using a model MF-Tire or SWIFT on V7R5 Sp2 x86 IF.

(12715) The user could not perform the dynamic analysis using more than

2 UA-Tire models that were defined as the same action entity in Solid

Contact.

(12232) The solving speed SWIFT tire was not fast.

(11070) An Axis was added when “Select Zoom” was performed after

Multiple Axis was applied in Plot.

(11051) An error occurred when the dynamics analysis was performed

after Laser and PointInBox Sensor were defined in the MTT2D, MTT3D,

Chain subsystem.

(11122) RecurDyn was crashed if two markers were in the same position

after Scope was displayed after defining VR in Expression.

(11049) The analysis was performed after the defined Numerical Damping

value was changed to 0 unconditionally when Integration was defined in

Scenario.

(11268) In V7R5 SP1, the value of Reaction Force was incorrect when the

action body and base body for Revolute Joint was exchanged and they was

included in Friction.

(11339) The value of Maximum Friction Force was changed to 0.1

unconditionally when you opened it, if you saved it after defining

Maximum Friction Force of Contact for a model in V7R4.

(11339) You could not open it when you saved it after defining Maximum

Friction Force of Contact by PV for a model in V7R4.

(11374) RecurDyn was crashed with an error when you clicked Light in

View of Menu.

The CoLink V7R5 menu is added in the menu of the Start button on

Windows. You can use CoLink solely by this menu. If you use this menu,

you can run a simulation with RecurDyn/professional and

RecurDyn/CoLink simultaneously

Command Window

You can use various Ch commands in Command Window. The command

inputted in Command Window is sent to the embedded Ch and the

ChScript engine handles it.

ChScripts Tab

You can use the ChScript tab if you have the license of ChScript. The

ChScript tab consists of settings for ChScript.

ProcessCh

You can use ProcessCh by function files which are consisted of the Ch

language in Command Window.

If you input them in Command Window of CoLink, they command the

RecurDyn modeler.

If you input commands in Command Window of CoLink, you can

perform to work for the Modeling, Simulation, Plot, etc. by provided

the Ch function files.

U Function

You can make a special block by U Function to simulate user’s equations in

the CoLink model.

You can see contour to the patches generating the real contact in the

patch set defined by the contact surface.

Export Mesh Data

You can export the deformed mesh data after the simulation and

undeformed mesh data before the simulation. Also, the exported file is

used as an input file in Nastran, Ansys.

Exporting the Contour Data in FFlex Contour Dialog

You can export the contour data by the node and time in FFlex Contour

Dialog. Also, you can export the min/max contour data in FFlex Contour

Dialog.

Durability Interface

When you want to perform a durability analysis after the dynamic analysis,

you can get a data as the FEMFAT format (*.unv).

Stress/Strain Recovery for Beam Element

Stress/Strain Recovery for Beam Element was added and the area shear

ratios were added in order to consider the beam shear effect.

Rigid Body Element Formulation

The element formulation for the rigid body element (RBE or FDR) was

improved. The stability and speed of RBE element is more enhanced.

Advanced contact surface search in Model Settings

When you use many triangle patches for the rigid contact surfaces,

the speed is more enhanced for the following elements.

RecurDyn/Mesher

RecurDyn/Mesher is a toolkit and it is a part of RecurDyn/Interdisciplinary. Also, it is

closely related to RecurDyn/FFlex. RecurDyn/Mesher performs the mesh work of

desired rigid body as the optimized type to perform the FFlex modeling and analysis

after connecting with the MBD analysis from starting the rigid body modeling.

RecurDyn/Mesher uses the mesh core by CM2 Mesh Tools of computing objects

which have the Advancing Frontal method as the basic access method. It creates

the FE mesh which is kept the type to the edge and surface of rigid body geometry.

It supports a tool which is to keep the joint and force and to create the contact

patch set used in the rigid body modeling. So, it is possible to easy modeling.

Mesh

You can mesh the desired target body by the Mesh function. RecurDyn

supports the following element types.

Beam – Beam

Shell – Shell3 (Tria3), Shell4 (Quad4)

Solid – Solid4 (Tetra4), Solid10 (Tetra10)

Geometry Refinement

You can use generally the graphical tessellation data of geometry which is

the rendering type in the screen. The mesh output is influenced by the

accuracy of input data.

Assist Modeling

You can easily apply the condition of constraint as the joint and force

defined in the geometric entity and the condition of contact defined by

using the patch of surface in the Assembly mode.

Imprint Point

You can create points on the geometric entity by this function. So, you can

get nodes on the points.

Imprint Edge

You can create lines on the geometric entity by this function. So, you can

get nodes on the created line.

You can generate a RFI (RFlex Input file) file for the Nastran interface. It is

used in an OP2 file which is the output file of Nastranas the binary type.

Also, the stress and strain shape can be added simultaneously when

generating the RFI file.

Fixed Problems

When a RFI file by using ANSYS Solid185 element was imported,

RecurDyn was crashed.

Use Identical Solution of RDHost

You can output the same result as the RecurDyn Host mode in the

Simulink Host mode using the Use Identical Solution of RDHost option.

You can use EHD Solver Setting option in the EHD Properties dialog. The

parameters listed in EHD Solver Setting are the values used for the

EHD Output Export

If you create the xx.out file by clicking the Output File Export button in

EHD Properties dialog, the node position of data in the file is expressed as

both the Cartesian coordinate and the cylindrical coordinate with respect

to the reference marker.

Fixed Problems

When the inner body in the EHD system by rotating penetrated the outer

body by rotating, the torque to protect such a phenomenon did not occur.
