1962 – James L. Williams starts first of what would become the Quality Group of Companies (QGC)
1988 – Chad Williams assumes control of the company, and begins increased focus on real estate
2003 – Quality purchases first data center, J. Williams Technology Centre in Overland Park, Kansas
2005 – QTS formally established with acquisition of Suwanee, GA site
2006 – New York, New Jersey and Santa Clara sites added to the portfolio, establishing QTS as national player
2008 – Atlanta Metro facility commissioned, giving QTS the 2nd largest data center in the world
2009 – Category 5 Hurricane rated Miami Facility operational after green field build
2010 – Richmond facility purchase and Santa Clara expansion (SJC2) add significant capacity in the Mid-Atlantic and West
