• 1962 James L. Williams starts first of what would become the Quality Group of Companies (QGC)

• 1988 Chad Williams assumes control of the company, and begins increased focus on real estate

• 2003 Quality purchases first data center, J. Williams Technology Centre in Overland Park, Kansas

• 2005 QTS formally established with acquisition of Suwanee, GA site

• 2006 New York, New Jersey and Santa Clara sites added to the portfolio, establishing QTS as national player

• 2008 Atlanta Metro facility commissioned, giving QTS the 2 ndlargest data center in the world
