PublicPublic Cloud is when a service provider (like
Cbeyond) makes computing resources available
over the Internet. All customers share the same
firewall settings, anti-virus and intrusion detection
and prevention systems. It’s a very secure solution,
but does not have a private, customizable firewall –
like what is available in our private environment.
PrivatePrivate Cloud involves the addition of the
customizable firewall features and settings. With
our private environment, the customer achieves an
even higher level of customization and
security. Certain ports, traffic and interactions can
be prevented or allowed, based on customer-
specific requirements.
