Step1–LogintoICONNECT

AccessICONNECT,ourOnlineCommunity,byclickingthe“LogintoICONNECT”buttonthatappearsatthetop-rightofIngomarChurch’swebsite(http://ingomarchurch.org).

PersonalHomePage-containsinformationspecifictoyou,including:

1. AwelcomemessagefromIngomarChurchandaseriesoftabsyoucannavigatethrough:Welcome,RecentActivity,MessagesandForms


2. Ontheleft,youwillseeamenu:

• UseGroupstoaccessinformationforcommitteesorothergroups• UsePeopletolocateotherpeoplebyname• (ServeisnotyetimplementedinICONNECT)• UseGivetoview/printyourgivingstatementorcontributeonline

3. Ontheupperrightsideofthescreen(“theheaderbar”),youhave4tools:thealertbell,calendar,yournameandahelp“cog”

Whenyouclickonyourname,themenulistedunderyournamedisplays.Thisisavailablefromanypage.

4. Ontherightside,youwillseealistofthecommitteesorgroupstowhichyouareamember.Everyoneisamemberof“OurChurch.”


Step2–ViewYourProfile

ClickProfileunderyournameintheheaderbartoviewyourpersonalinformation.

ContactInfoYourphoto,phonenumber(s),emailandaddresswillbeshownatthetop.OnlyyouandmembersoftheIngomarChurchfamilywhohavealogonIDwillseeyouremailaddress.

ProfileTabs

Viewyourrecentactivity,familyinformation,personalinformation,involvement,financialhistoryandservingavailabilityfromtheprovidedtabs.

ActionsMenu

ClickEditProfile,makeneededchangestoyouraddress,e-mail,phonenumbers,andbirthdateandusethe[Save]buttonatthebottomofthepagetostorethesechanges.


Step3–EditYourProfileandUploadPicturesWhenviewingyourprofile,clickEditProfile(fromtheActionsMenuontheright),makeneededchangestoyouraddress,e-mail,phonenumbers,andbirthdateandusethe[Save]buttonatthebottomofthepagetostorethesechanges.WEWOULDLIKEALLTHOSEINDIVIDUALSWITHLOGONIDSTOUPLOADAPICTUREOFTHEMSELVESANDTHEIRFAMILY.InformationwillonlybeaccessibletothoseindividualswithlogonIDs,NOTtothegeneralpublic.

UploadyourPersonalPicture

Whileeditingyourprofile,ontheBasicstab/Personalsection,selectanappropriatephotofromyourcomputer:

UploadyourFamilyPictureWhenviewingyourprofile,clickonEditfamilyprofile.OntheFamilyInformationsection,selectanappropriatephotofromyourcomputer.

Step4–YourPrivacySettings

A. ListedinICONNECT.

WEWOULDLIKEALLTHOSEINDIVIDUALSWITHLOGONIDSTOLEAVETHISSETTO“LISTED”.InformationwillonlybeaccessibletothoseindividualswithlogonIDs,NOTtothegeneralpublic.

Ifyoumakeyourselfunlisted,nootherIngomarcommunitymember,committeeorgroupmember,orfriendwillbeabletoseeyouoremailyou.Anunlistedindividualcanonlybeseenbythechurchleadership,i.e.,peoplewhohavebeengivenadditionaladministrativeprivilegesforthesoftware.WerecommendthatyouleaveyourselfsettoListedtohelpbuildarobustonlinecommunity.


B. Listedindividualscanalsomodifyprivacysettings.

Youmayselectfromthefouroptionsdescribedbelowbyusingthepulldownforeachareaofyourprofile.

IndividualsmustbeloggedintoICONNECTtoviewanypeopleandfamilyinformation.

i. ChurchLeadershipOnly:Fieldswiththissettingcanonlybeviewedbyappropriatechurchleadership.

ii. FriendsOnly:Fieldswiththissettingcanonlybeviewedbyotherpeoplewhoareontheperson'sMyFriendslist.Appropriatechurchleadershipcanviewtheinformationaswell.

iii. Friends&MyGroupsMembers:Fieldswiththissettingcanbeviewedbymembersofgroupsthepersonisinvolvedin,aswellasotherpeoplewhoareontheperson'sMyFriendslistandappropriatechurchleadership.

iv. Everybody:Fieldswiththissettingcanbeviewedbythosewithausernameandpasswordtousethesite(notbythegeneralpublic).

Thedefaultsettingsforthefollowingfieldshavebeensetto“Everybody”inordertofacilitateengagementbetweenIngomarfamilymembers:

• Atleastonephonenumber,and• Emailaddress,and• Mailingaddress,and• PluggedIn,and• MyFit

C. IfyoumakechangestothesesettingsbesuretoclickSave.


Step5–ViewOtherProfiles

Childrenage12andbelow(basedonthebirthdatesintheirprofiles)arenotvisibleunlessyouhavebeenspecificallygrantedthisaccess.Additionally,youcanonlyviewlistedprofiles.

1. ClickthePeoplelinkintheleftmenubar.

2. Begintypinganameinthesearchbox.

• Youmaytypefirstnameorlastname.

• Ifyouhitthespacebaratanypoint,thesystemwillbeginsearchingbybothfirstandlastname.So,ifsomeonehasatwo-wordfirstname,like'MarySueStevenson',youshouldjusttypesomethinglike'marste',not'marsu'or'marsuste'.

• Ifpeoplehaveprefixes,suffixes,ormiddlenameslisted,thosewillshowupincertainplaces,butyoushouldn'tusetheminanamesearch.

• Onceyou'vetypedatleasttwoletters,thesystemwillstartreturningsuggestedmatcheswiththenameandphotooftheprobablematches.Thereisalimittothenumberofreturnednamessocontinuetypinguntilyouseethedesiredname.

3. Clickthepersonyou'relookingforandyou'llbetakentotheirprofilepage.OntheInfotab,youwillseetheinformationtheindividualhaschosentosharewiththeICONNECTcommunity.Anythingnotsharedwillbeblankorshowthemessage‘notenoughprivilegestoview’,meaningadministrativerightsarerequiredtoviewthatinformation.IfyouhavechangedyourprivacysettingsfromEVERYBODYtoadifferentsettingsomeormanypeoplewillnotbeabletocontactyou.


Step6–AccessGiving/GivingStatement

ClicktheGivelinkintheleftmenubar.

1. Tomakeacontribution,usetheGivetab.Formoredetailsonmaking

contributions,seeinfoathttp://ingomarchurch.org/give/online-giving/.

2. Toreviewyourgiving,clickontheSchedule/Historytab

Yourtransactionhistoryisdisplayed-or-usethe“GivingStatement”button

Selecttheappropriateoptionsforthestatement.

• Type:LeavethissettoFamilyifgeneratingafamilystatement,orchangetoIndividualifyouwishtogenerateastatementfortheindividualonly.

• DateRange:Thiswilldeterminewhichtransactionstoincludeinthestatementbasedonthepostdatesetforthetransaction.

• TaxDeductible:Choosewhichtransactionstoincludebasedontheirtaxdeductiblestatus:taxdeductible,non-deductible,orboth.

• PledgeInformation:IncludesasummaryofallpledgessetupfortheindividualorFamily.

Note:Ifyouaregeneratingafamily'sgivingstatement,allgiftsattributedtothePrimaryContactandSpousewillappearononestatementwhileanygiftsattributedtoaChildorOtherfamilymemberwillappearonaseparatestatementforeachfamilymemberthatgave.

3. Toreviewyourpledges,clickonthePledgestab.
