Hopkins! Talk about B-Hop whipping young pups, Mickey took on a man half his
age in 29-year-old American Elliot
Seymour – and that’s after not fighting for 20 years.
Mickey’s no mug when it comes to boxing, having been a pro fighter during a break from Hollywood. What’s more, he was undefeated in eight fights, winning six and drawing two. It’s not Floyd Mayweather Jr numbers, but that’s no mean feat!
I’ve known Mickey for a while now and whenever he’s in the UK, we always get together. He’s welcome at my gym any time.

I can’t believe how mad people were going over Black Friday sales. There’s never any excuse to be fighting over coffee machines.
The problem is it’s not really even the discounted prices that get people into a frenzy – it’s all the queuing outside. By the time they’re let in, they’ll probably have it with anybody to get what they want.
Return of the HaskellIt was good to see another pal of mine James Haskell back in the England rugby side for the Autumn Internationals. I know how much it means to him to play for England, and with the World Cup coming home next year, he’ll be doing whatever it takes to be a part of that. And it means I can get tickets to the games if he is!
FreezyJetSpare a thought for the Russian passengers who had to get off and push their plane because the brakes froze in minus 520C temperatures! It’s bad enough dealing with your car breaking down when it’s cold out, let alone a 30-ton passenger jet.
Luckily, I had no such problems with my Etihad Airways flight to Japan recently, which was a dream because I was comfortably asleep for most of it.

Crazy bromance Tyson Fury has been exchanging letters with Britain’s most violent prisoner, Charles Bronson. Why does that not surprise me? Fury sells himself as a bit of a mad man and has even modelled himself on Bronson with his beard.
Maybe Fury and Bronson can have a crazy-off and see who comes out on top. I know who my money would be on!
