Marco Giorgio Grandi, architect and interior designer, was born in Milan on 6 May 1971.
He graduated with Honours from the Politecnico di Milano, Faculty of Architecture, where since 1996
he worked as an Expert and Lecturer in the various research activities of the group led by Anna
Mangiarotti, BEST Department.
Master with Honours in Design and Bionics Research at CRIED of Institute Europeo di Design of
Milan, in 2000 began his professional collaboration with the School of Design IED in Milan, where he
is now lecturer for courses in Interior Design , scientific coordinator of the Thesis Courses Three-year
Interior and Industrial Design, and since 2005 coordinator of the IED Master RSP in Interior Design.
Since 2001 he is the owner of Studio GGA (in collaboration with Nadja Gerlach 2003 to 2006), which
deals with issues concerning the construction, interior design, product and staging (Contractworld
Award 2001). From 2007 to 2009 also assumed the creative direction of the company Well Made
Factory Ltd, for which addresses numerous projects relating to the Contract in catering, hospitality,
service and exhibition. Designer of different events and exhibitions through projects and product
concept aimed at experimental and applied research material (among other things, Frameless Frame,
2009_ Salone del Mobile / Milan, Cersaie / Bologna).
Since 2010 is part of the E3 - E Cube (www.progettoecube.eu), directed multidisciplinary approach to
energy project for a land use evolved.

The firm is established, lives and intends to grow on the resource of the diversity and
complementary nature of its founding partners.
The interior design, the non-standard exploration of architectural materials and scenarios are
professionally integrated with the effort to control spatial intuitions at the same time innovative
yet feasible. Not only matter, but also skin... and vice versa.
The preliminary meeting with the client, the synthetic interpretation of his needs as well as the in
progress sharing of the final goals is the core of our work. We strongly believe in good
comunication as the raw material for a good project...

Synergies
GGA Studio aims at embodying a creative matrix ad projectum, constantly transforming,
reconfiguring and implementing itself for the best result possible, of course by keeping safe the
client’s satisfaction and ours, too.
The methodological input is shared and targeted in accordance to the effective requirements of
the given assignment, while the following steps of concept definition and development is
entirely coordinated by the Studio itself and the supporting partners choosen for a specific
know-how consulting.
Contemporaneous problematics, reversible choices and unexpected solutions are the tools we
