It marks the fourth straight year local ranchers would be able to take part in the program, which allows sales to be pushed to following year. That allows ranchers to better absorb the tax effects of reducing herds rather than buying feed to augment poor pasture grazing conditions. To qualify, forage yields must be less than half the long-term average as a result of drought or flooding in a particular year. Applicants must have reduced breeding herds by at least 15 per cent, and defer from 30 to 90 per cent of the income realized pushed into the next business year. The initial 2019 list of affected areas, released Monday by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, shows for the second straight year a region stretching from along the southern prairies, from Calgary to the Ontario boundary, as well as northern British Columbia and parts of eastern Quebec. In Alberta, areas are all those south and east of Calgary as well as the peace region in Northwest Alberta. In Saskatchewan, it includes all rural municipalities south of Saskatoon. Cypress County has been included in each year since 2016. Other specific counties in Alberta this year also include, Forty Mile, Newell, and the Special Areas, as well as Cardston, Lethbridge, Taber, Warner and Wheatland counties. 41367730/4-31JLp www.yourdailyfi 10’ x 15’ Storage Units: Rent for $80.00 per month or $840.00 per year Trailer Storage: $20.00 per month Call 306-297-9382 41367731/2-31JLp Shaunavon Branch Stop in and see us for all your Chemical, Seed, Forage, and Fertilizer needs. 615 Highway 37 or call 306-297-4121 41358413/22-26JLp PART TIME & FULL TIME FRONT DESK & HOUSEKEEPING Will pay TOP Wages to Experienced personnel No experience necessary, will train. What kind of day will tomorrow be? To find out what the stars say, read the forecast given for your birth sign.

For Wednesday, July 24, 2019ARIES(March 21 to April 19)Family discussions will go well today,

especially with a relative you haven’t seen in a while. You might appreciate the relationship in a new way.

TAURUS(April 20 to May 20)Today you will appreciate the beauty

of your daily surroundings. You might see the world around you with new eyes. Look for ways to share this with some-one.

GEMINI(May 21 to June 20)If shopping today, you will want to buy

beautiful things for yourself and others. Ideally, wait until late in the day to spend your money — you’ll be glad you did.

CANCER(June 21 to July 22)Today you find it easy to tell others

that you care about them. Or you might be quite frank about expressing your appreciation of something else that you value.

LEO(July 23 to Aug. 22)Solitude in beautiful surroundings will

please you today. It’s good to take a bit of time out to smell the roses. (It’s so easy to forget to do this, isn’t it?)

VIRGO(Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)A discussion with a friend or member

of a group will be positive today because you feel a genuine bond of affection. You might tell someone how much you care for him or her.

LIBRA(Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)People admire you today and will

probably ask for your input about artistic, creative matters. They want your advice about design, layout, PR work — some-thing.

today. You also will admire the artifacts of other cultures and art that is created by different people.

SAGITTARIUS(Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)If you make an important decision

about shared property, inheritances or how to divide something, do it later in the day to get the best results. However, you will do things fairly.

CAPRICORN(Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)Relations with close friends and part-

ners are warm today because you feel happy with someone. You might openly express your affection for this person.

AQUARIUS(Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)You have great ideas at work today, in

part because you can see how to make things more attractive or more appealing to others. You also might play the role of peacemaker.

PISCES(Feb. 19 to March 20)Romance is favored today because

people feel affectionate toward each other and are ready to admit this. Likewise, you will enjoy the company of children.

YOU BORN TODAY You respect the thoughts and feelings

of others. You’re social, friendly and practical. This is a year of teaching and learning. You might learn something profound that sets you in a new direction that is crucial for your success next year. Start to explore meditation, yoga or any discipline that will help you get a better understanding of who you are.

The ranger told them, “Well, we haven’t seen any grizzlies in this area so far this year, or

black bears, for that matter.”

The wife shrieked, “There are TWO types of bears out here? How can you tell the differ-

ence? Which one is more dangerous?”

The ranger replied, “Well, that’s easy -- see, if the bear chases you up a tree and it comes up after you, it’s a BLACK bear. If it SHAKES the

tree until you fall out, it’s a grizzly.”

The motel room was quite nice.

A man asked his wife what she’d like for her birthday. “I’d love to be six again,” she replied. On the morning of her birthday, he got her up bright and early and off they went to a local theme park.

What a day! He put her on every ride in the park: the Death Slide, the Screaming Loop, the Wall of Fear, everything there was! Wow!

Five hours later she staggered out of the theme park, her head reeling and her stomach upside down. Right to a McDonald’s they went, where her husband ordered her a Happy Meal with extra

fries and a refreshing chocolate shake. Then it was off to a movie, the latest Star Wars epic, a hot dog, popcorn, soda, and M&Ms. What a fabulous adventure!

Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed. He leaned over and lovingly asked, “Well, dear, what was it like being six again?”

One eye opened. “You idiot, I meant my dress size.”The moral of this story: Even when the man is listening, he’s still gonna get it wrong.
