WHEN A CHILD IS ILL • A child who is ill with fever, the flu or an infectious
illness should see a doctor, rest at home for the full duration indicated in the Medical Certificate, and recover fully before returning to school. Please submit medical certificates promptly.
• If the child falls ill in school, the Form Teacher will contact the parents.
• A parent or an authorized adult , not a school-going sibling, is expected to come to school and bring the child home.

Remember to always keep the Form Teacher updated on any change in contact information

Exciting Your Child about School
• Purchase the school uniform and shoes together.

Getting ready for school
• Personal Belongings – No expensive Items
– Label belongings (including shoes, water bottles, pencil cases, PE T-shirt, PE shorts, etc.) for ease of identification
• Please take note that the Form Teacher will need to get to know the children before finalising the seating arrangement in class.
• Trolley bags are not recommended.

New School Year in 2015
• Parents may remain in school for the first 2 days only - Friday and Monday 2nd & 5th January 2015
• School hours for the first 2 days are as such: Fri, 2/1/2015: 11.15a.m. to 1.15p.m.
Mon, 5/1/2015: 11.15a.m. to 1.45p.m. • No parking in the school during orientation
and when formal schooling starts
New School Year in 2015 • Your child needs to wear his / her plastic name tag
issued on Orientation Day through the first 2 weeks and especially on Day 1. The tag contains the name of his / her class and is also used by the bus drivers to indicate the school bus the children are taking.
• Buddy System will be provided from 2nd – 6th January. Please remind your children that their older buddies are there to show them how to buy their own food. Your children should be provided between $2 - $3 a day.

Pupils will be grouped according to:
Those taking school bus (Label will be pasted on the plastic name tag)
Those to be fetched by parents
Those who wait for their siblings
Bus drivers will pick up the relevant pupils from class
Parents who are picking up their children are to wait at the gate
For parents who are already in school, please wait in the canteen at the assigned tables
Pupils who are going home with their older brother/sister in this school will be picked up directly from the P1 classroom
