Grab your driver’s license, utility bill, mortgage statement or tax bill—something that we can use to verify that you live in the City of Cedarburg. 3. Get it to City Hall, along with $30 (this is a onetime fee, unless replacement is needed). 4. We give you your activated access card. HOW DO I GET MY APPLICATION TO CITY HALL? 1. Visit the Public Works department at City Hall located at W63N645 Washington Avenue, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00AM–4:30PM. Make sure to bring: a. Your completed application b. Your proof of residence c. $30 via credit card, tap to pay, debit card, check, or cash 2. Mail* it to City Hall. Make sure to include: a. Your completed application b. A copy of your proof of residence c. $30 via check, made payable to the City of Cedarburg. d. Send to: City of Cedarburg Attn: Public Works PO Box 49 Cedarburg WI 53012 3. Put above items in envelope and drop in our secured dropbox* located outside of the south entrance of City Hall, which is available 24/7. *Note, if you submit your application and payment via mail or dropbox, your access card will be mailed to your attention at the address provided. WHAT CAN I DISPOSE OF AT THE YARD? Yard waste: brush, clippings, leaves Clean, dry, collapsed cardboard Waste oil Antifreeze Lead acid batteries BAGGED invasive vegetation, including garlic mustard, teasel, purple loosestrife, wild parsnip, and others 1. The yard is available to City residents only. 2. The yard is open six days a week from 7:00AM to 7:00PM; it is closed on Tuesdays for cleanup and maintenance. 3. Free woodchips are available on a firstcome firstserve basis. 4. No dumping outside of gated areas; disposal is only allowed within the gates and during the operating hours stated above. 5. ALL invasive vegetation must be bagged, sealed and kept separate from regular yard waste in order to prevent spread. 6. Observe oneway traffic only, entering at the north gate and exiting at the south gate. 7. Waste must be separated and placed in the proper areas as indicated. Do not leave waste in plastic bags; empty contents and take the bags with you. 8. Illegal dumping of items other than what is listed will not be tolerated; violators will be fined and their access to the yard revoked. 9. The yard is continuously monitored by security cameras; as such, do not share your card with people living outside of your household. 10. Access to the yard may be limited due to snow events, as priority is given to clearing City throughways.
