Activity:Have your child create something they loved and learned about the summer using different items in your home.Example: your child can draw pictures of anything they like about the summer, create any type of sea creature, or build a sandcastle or create bubbles.

Outdoor-Plan a daily walk around the block with masks on. If you see other people on the sidewalk, practice good social distancing – and use it as a chance to talk with your child about why it’s still important to keep their distance, even when everyone’s wearing masks

Our last day of summer school we will focus on reviewing the changes we will see in the new school year.: new friends, new teachers.We will also say good bye to our friends who graduated.
At our 2pm session we will have a virtual picnic.

Math- Practice counting and 1:1 correspondence with the numbers 1-10.1-Use household items such as pennies, Cheerios, beans, or pasta. 2-Place those 10 items into a cup.3-Have your child take out one item at a time from the cup and count until they reach 10 and there are no more items in the cup.4-Have your child pick up one item at a time and place it back in the cup until they reach 10 and all items are back in the cup.
