Members of the Black Hebrews community dancing during festivities marking Shavuot in the southern Israeli town of Dimona. Since 2004, the Black Hebrew Israelites have been recognized as permanent residents of Israel and have full access to all government social benefits. In 2006, they were also granted land on the outskirts of Dimona that was used to establish Shomrei Ha-Shalom (guardians of peace), a communal agricultural community.
