We would like to welcome all new members to the WCSC! We had a great turnout at the Newcomer Brunch. It was so nice to see everyone make new friends and get to know those of us who have been here for a while! Thank you to everyone who helped out with food, decorating, set-up and clean-up. Special thanks to Michele Gayler for opening her home to our wonderful newcomers. You are awesome Michele.

From the Hospitality Committee

The WCSC Thrift shop would like to recognize our Volunteer of the month, Ruth Douglas. Congratulations to her for all of her hard work and creative merchandising at the Thrift Shop.

Fall is upon us and the Thrift Shop is gearing up for Halloween…we have adult and children’s costumes, as well as GREAT fall decorations. In addition, the shop completed the transition to our fall and winter clothing. We have winter jackets, coats, scarves and hats for all ages. Don’t forget to check out all of the dress and seasonal boots!

The shop is going to open extended hours starting Oct 1st. We will be open on Thursdays from 12:00 to 7:00. We will do this on a trial basis for the months of Oct and Nov to determine if we will make it a permanent change. Please plan to come and check out our Thursday Manager’s Special!
