We are so glad that you are with us today! Our service
will be to praise and worship God and to encourage and uplift us to face another week. We will sing (Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16), pray (James 5:15-18), and partake of the Lord’s Supper to remember our Savior’s sacrifice on the cross (Acts 20:7, 1 Cor. 11:23-26). We will also give back a portion of the monetary blessings that God has granted us so that we can carry out His work in our community (1 Cor. 16:2, 2 Cor. 9:7). We will also study a lesson from His Word that will hopefully be applicable to our daily lives, so that we can be equipped to handle the pressures of this world and reach those outside of
Christ (2 Tim. 2:15).Elders

George Hall is undergoing tests at this time.
Jada Howard, Gerald and Abby’s granddaughter, is waiting on test results.Bob Burton continues to have health issues and is under a doctor’s care.Tina Messer will be undergoing more tests for abdominal issues.Candy Ledford is recovering from kidney stone surgery.Jason Ledford will have hernia surgery September 12.John Stephens is out of the hospital and doing better.
Men’s Thursday Bible Class starts back September 13th at 9:00 AM. Class will meet 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in the Fellowship Hall.

Tuesday Ladies’ Bible Class will resume Tuesday, September 4th at 9:30 AM. We will begin the year with a devotional and potluck lunch followed by a brief meeting to discuss food teams and logistics and changes to the teams. All ladies are welcome and encouraged to come.Congratulations to Paul Dove on his recent decision to put
on Christ in baptism. Please encourage him as he begins his walk with Christ.
