We are so glad that you are with us today! Our service
will be to praise and worship God and to encourage and uplift us to face another week. We will sing (Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16), pray (James 5:15-18), and partake of the Lord’s Supper to remember our Savior’s sacrifice on the cross (Acts 20:7, 1 Cor. 11:23-26). We will also give back a portion of the monetary blessings that God has granted us so that we can carry out His work in our community (1 Cor. 16:2, 2 Cor. 9:7). We will also study a lesson from His Word that will hopefully be applicable to our daily lives, so that we can be equipped to handle the
pressures of this world and

God is our protection and source of strength. He
is always ready to help us in times of trouble.
So we are not afraid when the earth quakes and the mountains fall into the sea.
We are not afraid when the seas become rough and dark and the mountains tremble.

ALL IN
Another busy week has come and gone. I pray that your Fall is going well! We have several things coming up that we want to remind you of. At 4 PM today, we are having a planning meeting for youth and parents. Following that, we will have the congregational planning meeting. We hope you can be there and give your input on ideas and plans! Also, coming up on the 24th, we will have a pizza supper and join in on the
live streamed Erupt Youth Rally that is usually held in the underground Cumberland Caverns. Let me know if you plan to attend this with us here at the building. On November 8th, there will be a progressive dinner in several of the youth group families' homes. We really enjoyed the Fall Festival last weekend at the Pritchett's farm. It was great to see roughly 100 folks attend!
Let's go out and make this a great week!
Welcome to Ellijay Church of Christ this morning as we gather to worship the Lord! I thoroughly enjoyed last Sunday, and I am so appreciative of the work Dorian and his family do with Partners 4 Africa. I was also blown away by our church’s response to the needs of Christians on the other side of the world! Dorian mentioned a need for Bibles translated into Swahili, and the need was instantly met. The generosity of our family here is always evident, and God’s Word is clear when it says we will
reap the good things that we sow!
We will resume our study of the Book of Romans this morning by digging into chapter 10; I hope you will be blessed by our lesson. This evening, Caleb will join me for another round of questions and answers submitted by our church family. Finally, PLEASE make plans to be here this afternoon at 4:30 for our congregational planning meeting as we start thinking about 2021. Your input is essential to putting together a plan for the church’s spiritual growth in the coming year.
Once again, thank you for being with us today, whether you are here in person or tuning in via the live stream! We have been blessed with another opportunity to praise Almighty God!
