PANALANGIN Mahal naming Ama, hinihiling naming ang Iyong banal na Espiritu na sumaamin sa  lahat ng aming Gawain bilang Rotaryo at 

mga personal na Gawain. Malugod nawa sa aming kalooban na ibigay ang aming        

responsibilidad bilang rotaryo. Bigyan n’yo po ng tibay ng katawan, kaisi‐pan at damdamin ang bawat isa sa amin 

upang maisakatuparan ang higit na makakabuti sa aming kinauukulan. Nawa’y ang lahat ng aming Gawain ay makatulong na mailapit ang bawat nilalang sa Inyo at 

magawa ang inyong kagustuhan. Hinihiling naming ito sa Ngalan Iyong Anak 

na si Hesus.  AMEN. 

Masaya at Matagumpay na pagbisita ng delegadong RC Marikina sa Kota Kinabalu, Malay-sia. Labing-apat na Rotaryong RC Marikina ay na-anyayahan dumalosa Gabi ng Pagsasa-talaga ng Rotary Club of Luyang sa kanilang Pangulo Francis Chan at ang kanyang mga lupon ng patnugot. Nagkaroon din ng pagpupulong ang dalawang Rotary Club upang pag usapan ang pagtitibay ng relasyon at samahan ng dalawang club at ang posibleng pag-kakaroon ng magkasamang proyekto pang komunidad. Nagkaroon din ng masaya at hindi malilimutang gabi ng kasiyahan sa pamamagitan ng kantahan ng videoke, kwentuhan at simpleng handaan. Nagkaroon din ng pagkakataon na maglibot sa buong lungsod ng Kota Kinabalu at sa kalapita na lugar.

Ngayong gabi ating masasaksihan ang panunumpa bilang kasapi ni Doktor Erwin Culan-gen na may classification na General Surgery at Ginoong Jose Ong na may classification na Electronics distribution. Sa kabuan, tatlo na ang nadagdag sa ating kasapi sa taon ng Rotaryo ngayon.

Bukas, Agusto ika-15, 2014 ay ating isasagawa ang pangalawang “8 Kalusugan Medical Mission” na gaganapin sa Barangay Hall ng Concepcion Dos. Ito ay muling pagtutulong-tulong ng ating mga “Partners in Service”. Ang Marikina Valley Medical Society, ang Opis-ina ni Vice Mayor at Dating Pangulo Fabi Cadiz, ang Lokal na pamahalaan ng Marikina sa pamumuno ni Mayor at Dating Pangulo Del de Guzman, Ang opisyales ng Barangay Con-cepcion Dos, Inner Wheel Club of Marikina at sa unang pagkakataon makasama ang Ro-tary Club of Marikina East sa pamumuno ni Pangulo Cynthia Cruz.

Muli kongp inapaalala na sa darating na Ika-21 ng Agosto ay darating sa Pilipinas ang Pangdaigdigan Pangulo ng Rotary na si Pangulong Gary Huang at kasama ang unang Gi-nang na si Corrine. Sila ay sasama sa National Rotary Day na gaganapin sa Don Bosco, Alabang at makikipagsaya sa gabi sa Sofitel Hotel sa ika-22 ng Agosto, 202. Sa mga gusto sumama, may bayarin o registration na P1,000.00 parasa Rotary Day sa Alabang at P1,900.00 para sa “Evening with Gary Huang.

Sa Katapusan ng buwanng Agosto, ika-30, magkakaron ng Public Speaking Seminar na gagawin sa Valle Verde Country Club mula 1:00 hangang 5:00 ng hapon. Ang Proyektong ito ay ang Rotary Club of San Juan. Lahat tayo ay inaanyayahan sumama at makinig. Ang Registration ay magsisimula ng alas-12 ng tanghali at may bayaring 350.00

Hindi ko alam kung saan sisimulan ang kuwentong “Kota Kinabalu”. Maganda at Masaya ang kara-nasan ng lahat sa Kota Kinabalu. Hindi inalintana ang pagod at puyat. Pagkatapos ko Makita ang-madami na upload sa Facebook ng mga Selfie, groupie, hindi maitatangi na ito ang pinaka hindi makakalimutan na karanasan ng mga sumamasa Kota Kinabalu.

Nagsimula lang sa isang alok ng isang kasapi mula sa Rotary Club of Luyang kay PP Rene Floren-cio ang posibilidad na magkaroon ng “Friendship relationship” ang Rotary Club of Marikina at Ro-tary Club of Luyang at sumunod ang isang paanyaya mula sa pangulo ng Rotary Club of Luyang si Pres. Francis Chan.

Sa simula ay “Sisterhood Relationship” na ang pinagplanuhan ni Pres. Dodjie at ng Board of Direc-tors pero sa pagtakbo ng proseso ay nalaman natin na dapat ay unang hakbang ay dapat “Friendship” muna bago “Sisterhood” Maihahalintulad sa isang relasyon bilang magasawa. Mag-sisimula sa pagkakaibigan o “getting to know each other stage”, ligawan muna bago engagement at kasal. Tama di ba?

Hindi natin akalain sa isang batang Rotary Club ng Luyang ang magbukas ng ating mata sa ta-mang proseso para lalo tumagal at tumibay ang isang samahan. Kinakailangan muna ang magan-daang pondasyon ng samahan, patibayin muna ito ng mabuting pagkakakilala sa isa’tisa bago su-muong sa malalim na pakikipagugnayan katulada ng “Sisterhood”.

Ganun narin ang nangyari sa balakin na magkaroon ng City Sisterhood ang Kota Kinabalu City at Marikina City. Bagamat nauna ang usapin sa pagitan ng Kota Kinabalu at Marikina City at sinundan ito ng pulong mula sa RC Luyang at RC Marikina, napagisip-isip na tama nga na bago tayo pu-masok sa isang makatutuhanan na pakikipagunayan ay dapat makilala muna natin mabuti ang bawat isa. Ligawan muna bago balakin humakbang sa lebel na pagiging magkapatid. Hindi ba mas tama yun, kaysa papasok kaagad sa pakikipagkapatid na hindi pa natin lubos na kikilala ang isa’tisa.

Sa kasalukuyan ay bibisita kami ni Pres. Dodjie sa RC Batangas na nagpahayag makipagkapatid sa atin. Siguro sa pagdalaw namin sa kanila ay dadaanin muna sa pakikipagkilala ng malalim bago alukin ng pakikipagkapatid. Ikukuwento namin sa kanila ang aming naranasan sa RC Luyang bago tuluyan pumasok sa antas na pakikipagkapatiran.

Ngayon gabi, pagkatapos ng apat na beses na pagdalo sa ating pulong, dalawa ang magiging bago natin kasapi. Kilalanin natin sila at buksan ang ating mga sarili at tangapin sila ng maluwag bilang mga bagong kasapi natin. Ipakita natin sa kanila kung paano binago ng Rotary ang mga buhay natin.
