Pro-life education to the churches in Himalaya

Dear Pro-life friends and families, Greetings and blessings in Christ! We always feel happy and comfortable to send you our ministerial update every month. I hope the updates that you have been receiving from beginning helping you to understand the importance of life in a mother’s womb. God desires that all the human lives be saved physically and spiritually. Its a God given mission to His churches to save those precious lives at risk. So, we cannot say ‘NO’ to God at all. On 22nd October 2012, the VOF was invited to the Believers Church in Dunche, Rasuwa. It is 150 Kilometers far from Kat-mandu and it is really a beautiful place. We can view beautiful Himalayas like Langtang from that place. VOF had a golden opportunity to present the teaching about the sanctity of human life and the reality of abortion and its alternatives there among the 60 participants from different ethnic groups. Elisha Soman presented Pro-life DVD as a main teaching material. We found out that many people were facing with that kind of teaching first time in their lives. So, we prayed for their internal heal-ing and recovery. At last, all the participants were very excited and committed to stand for the lives at risk in any situation. Thank you very much Ps. Prem Tamang who invited VOF, Prakash Chaudari who assisted Elisha Soman & all prayer supporter.

VOF Newly Elected Board meeting and coaching Pro-life seminar in a Church

On 17th October, 2012, VOF had a Board meeting and coaching at Universal Café, Nakhu-dobato. The objectives of the gathering were to get to know each other very closely, clear with VOF vision and objectives, seek maximum involvement, refreshment with new and old board members. It was really a good time to have such a blessed fellowship. The chair-person of VOF shared from the word of GOD and suggested to act with God’s wisdom and Soman Elisha Rai reviewed VOF vision and objectives to newly elected Board members and challenged for their maximum involvement in VOF. Please pray for all the Board members.

On 24th October, 2012 VOF was invited by Ps. Norbu Lama of the Evangelical Friend Church in Jorpati, Kathmandu to present the teaching about the sanctity of Human life. Many lives were touched and transformed by the seminar. Some of them opened their hearts and plead for prayer. It was awesome experience.

Strengthening the value of Human life

Rajendra and Esther Khatri have been spreading the message of life in School and mothers’ group

Bro. Rajendra and Esther Khatri are the missionaries of Mahima Baptist Church serving God in Surkhet of Far-western Nepal. They have passion for the unborn babies and spreading the pro-life education along with Gospel. Brother Rajendra informed me by mobile that the issue have opened the door to them to spread the Gospel in School and other local groups. Just few weeks they had a couple of chances to conduct pro-life classes in School and local Co-cooperative women groups in Surkhet. Brother Rajendra was reporting that many of the participants were astonished saying that they never have though that Christians churches also raise this kind of social issue. Now. They have invitation from different places and groups. They have really a good cause to witness Christ in the communities they are living. They have been conducting seminars in Churches and small cell groups also. Please pray for them. They have needed some basic equipments for the presentation and materials too. Thank you
