After the seminar, we were extremely busy on listening the comments and blessing from the participants. One of the pastor’s wife told, “I was thinking not to come here because of raining, but Holy spirit pushed me to come here. Now, I understood, why was Holy Spirit pushing me. I was about to lose such a great blessing. Thank you God and thank you too.” There we met some local newspaper reporters too, they also noted some of our viewpoints and published in their newspaper on next day with catchy headline. We came to know by those news reporters that every year 3000 abortion occur in Makwanpur District. And I realized all those activities happened in right place and right time. I believed that it has made a huge difference in the spiritual world of Makwanpur District.

CARING MOTHERS, SAVING BABIES AND STOPPING ABORTION

“Promoting LIFE among the churches in Nepal”

Nepal is the country of natural beauty, but the routinely killing of the thousands of innocent and tender unborn babies have made this country blotted. There is no found of life’s culture, everywhere we find culture of death. What a tragic it is! So, in this tragic environment, God is expecting something new and singular work from His churches in Nepal. God wants to establish and promote the culture of LIFE in this Nation through His churches.

On last 14th. August, 2011, VoF’s small team of three members went to Hetauda the main city of Makwanpur District and had seminar on 15th. August, 2011. The seminar’s theme was “Therefore choose life”. It was an amazing program despite of a heavy

rainfall. 124 women key leaders from 51 churches in Makwanpur district were participated in the seminar. We were able see the curiosity and interest of the partici-pants plainly.

The seminar was started by a spirit filled worship led by the worship team of Kamane Christian Chruch. And after the worship, rest of the time were submitted to VoF. Soman Elisha the Executive Director of VoF took all those rest of the times on teaching. He had given the class on four different sessions. In first session, he taught about the biblical perspective on an unborn baby and its development in a mother’s womb. He presented the “Wonderfully and Uniquely created” pro-life DVD as a main teaching methodology and the touch of life the fetal model too. And in second session, he

taught about the harsh truth of abortion, its method and complications and in third session, taught about world’s excuses for abortion, additional information on emergency contraception pills and Godly alternatives to abortion. In order to make them more clear, he presented the “Therefore Choose life” DVD and some other additional video clips and genuine testimonies too. And on third session, he made participants to realize the church’s responsibilities on this burning issue with his own personal experiences. And at last, with the active involvement of the local Pastors he led the participants on healing and recovery process.

We came to know by those news reporters that every year 3000 abortion occur in Makwanpur District. And I realized all those activities happened in right place and right time. I believed that it has made a huge difference in the spiritual world of Makwanpur District.

And on 16th August, 2011 we headed towards the Birgunj one of the industrial city of Nepal, which is situated in the Bara District. Amit Sharma had provided his private car for us, so the trip was really comfortable.

And the seminar was holding by the Birgunj Christian Chruch. Our respected Ps. Peter Kamleswor one of the oldest pastor of Nepal welcomed us and submitted the time to us. 40 women and female youth leaders were participated from different churches in Birgunj. Soman Elisha started the seminar with the tragic images of Nepal and Nepali Churches on the sector of sanctity of life. Then he emphasized the biblical teaching on the sanctity of life. He presented the pro-life DVD called “Wonderfully and uniquely created” published by Gabriel International. And he taught about the reality of abortion, its types and complications. By facing with this harsh truth, many participants were in tear and emotionally moved. But with the help of the local Pastor we led them in healing prayer and assured them in God’s forgiveness.

After the seminar, we distributed the tri-fold brochures called “wonderfully and uniquely created” and “Abortion: helping people cope with grief and guilt”. Many of them came to us and expressed their gratitude. Thanks Lord.

At last, We would like to appreciate the family of Amit and Ramila Sharma, who invested spiritually and financially for this seminar.

On 12 August , 2011, we had an opportunity to rescue a new born baby girl from the Maternity Hospital of Thapathali, kathmandu. Since the mother of the baby is physically dis-able and financially weak, the baby was given for adoption. Actually, she had been counseling by one of our member for past 5 months. The baby is now adopted by a couple who were childless for past six years. Please pray for the family
