KONSHENS

Garfield Delano Spence better known as Konshens, born January 11th 1985 , is one

of the hottest artiste in the dancehall arena today.

Konshens's hits have included "Winner", "Rasta Impostor", "This Means Money",

"Good Girl Gone Bad", "Gal Dem A Talk", "Realest Song", "Represent", "Do Sumn",

"Forward", "Gal a bubble" and "Stop sign".

His 2005 single "Pon Di Corner" was a major hit in Japan, Juba, South Sudan and led to a month-long tour of the country and a Japan-only album release. He made a guest appearance on Tarrus Riley's Contagious album, deejaying on "Good Girl Gone Bad", which was also released as a single. During 2009 he had a large fanbase in Guyana and Europe, where his "Gal Dem Talk" single was a major hit, and he performed at Guyana's National Stadium in May 2011. His album, Real Talk, was released by Japanese label Koyashi in 2010. A second al-bum was also announced to be released in Jamaica on Tad Dawkins' Tad's Interna-tional label. Konshens also launched his own Subkonshus label in 2010, working with new acts including his brother Delus.

Konshens has made a major power move by launching his shoe line KONZ 876. The KONZ 867 line is high-end shoes it is not out of reach for consumers. The brand’s first release will be five different shoes. One is the ‘ KONZ SUB’, a low-top shoe which is a mix of patent leather and leather. It will be available in black and white for the males and pink and white for the females. There is also ‘The Gamechanger’ which is a high–top shoe mixed with both leather and blue jeans. With this game changing move, Konshens will set new standards for the dancehall game.

This new music video show is about to take the place by storm. VVF Top 6 Music Video countdown

is a music video show that brings audience the hottest videos around the globe. This show is creat-

ed and hosted by Ice Angel aka Tina and co hosted by Chimere. Season 1 will have 6 episodes and is

set to premier October 12th at 5:30pm on Gayelle Caribbean.

Apart from bringing top 6 music videos , the show will also feature ‘ old school’ videos, ‘Fan Choice’

‘Featured Artiste’ and ‘ Most Creative’ .

Directed by Celina Lyons and Co produced by Ancil Harris, VVF Top 6 will be a one of a kind music

countdown.

Born on the 14th December 1981 Choco D (Akilah Vidale-Charles) is the middle child of Peter and Jen-

nifer Vidale. She started singing at the age of 13 at Church and later branched off into singing at wed-

dings and other functions. Choco D was always a writer poetry being on of her first loves and from this

came the ability to write songs, she wrote her first song at 15 and completed her first album at 19. Ms.

D settled down at an early age getting married at 19 after she had her first child a girl, Rukiya. At the

age of 21 she recorded her first song “Life is what you make it” upon recording the second song she dis-

covered she was pregnant with her first son, Hakiem and decided to put off her singing career to deal

with her family life and home. At the age of 31 now with three children the youngest being her last son

Kwesi, Choco D was encouraged by them to resume her singing career and so she did. Chooc D was in-

troduced to her producer Carey FadaJam Rawlins on the 17th July 2013 and by the 24thJuly she was in

studio recording her first track ‘Youth Dem Crying Out’ having already written 5 songs from his wide va-

riety of musical tracks. Choco D is due to release her first official album ‘Choco D Unwrapped’ by Christ-
