Verbs With InfinitivesMost non-native speakers do not know how to put two verbs in a sentence. The problem is the second verb. Do you or do you not use a preposition to introduce that verb? Which is correct: I want speak; I want spoke; I want speaking or I want to speak? There is no rule in English to help you. Verbs with gerunds can help you.
