TNI therapy with nasal insufflationVentilation system for home care treatment of respiratory insufficiency, such as COPD

Increased quality of life due to our new high-flow respiratory support system.
The TNI®20 oxy provides 5 to 20 liters/minute of a warm, humidified air-oxygen mixture through an applicator into the patient‘s nose. During treatment the nose is not blocked, thus guarante-eing easy breathing.
Therapy success is achieved in patients with COPD II to IV, Cystic Fibrosis and many others.
TNI therapy is a possible addition to LTOT and a new optional alternative to mask ventilation.
Mask pressure sores, leakages and phobia as well as drying out of nasal mucosa are excluded during therapy application.
TNI therapy is free from any side effects.

Mode of action:
• Swirlstheair-O2 mixture in the dead space volume.
• Increasesventilationand induces CO2 washout.
• Improvesbreathingefficiency:(VD/VT) and thus alveolar venti-lation (VA).
• Adds„usable“ air-O2 mixture to the VD.
• ReducesthearterialCO2 content by improving VA. (Not achievable by only admini-stering pure oxygen)
