From the Director … What a challenge for all members of Bundaberg Players to stage this well known production. Without a huge team of workers - designers, back stage crew, technical – sound and lighting, costumes, make-up, choreographer, singer/actors, orchestra – giving their total commitment to the project, this outstanding production would not have happened. We are proud of what we have accomplished and we would like you to sit back relax and be amazed at the talent Bundaberg has within the Bundaberg Players.

Shirley Halpin

The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a masked figure who lurks beneath the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who inhabits it. He falls madly in love with an innocent young soprano, Christine, and devotes himself to creating a new star by nurturing her extraordinary talents and by employing all of the devious methods at his command.
