Annual Day “Amithought- Ek Sakaratmak Soch”held on 17th October, 2015, in the school premises. Amithought,
as the name suggests, is a step taken by Amity -46, to research and conceptualize the power of human mind.
The occasion was inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the illustrious Chief Guest for the func-
tion , Mr. Shekhar Gupta ,Chairperson of Mediascape and host of the famous “Walk the Talk” show NDTV, with
the Presiding Chief guest, Mr. Jozef Drofenik (Ambassador of Slovenia),worthy guests of honor, Ms. Shallu Jindal,
Chairperson of National Bal Bhawan, Special Guests Wing Commander Ms. Pooja Thakur accompanied by the
Chairperson of Amity Group of Schools and RBEF, Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan and the school Principal Mrs. Arti
Chopra. Mr. Shekhar Gupta, in his speech, congratulated Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan and the
Principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra for their endeavor.
A special musical performance by the students of Amitasha, an initiative by Dr.(Mrs.) AmitaChauhan (Chairperson
Amity Group of Schools) for the less privileged girl child captivated the audience. An exhibition, Amisanskriti,
depicting the enriched tradition of Uttarakhand, Chattisgarh and Jharkhand was put up by the students to give an
insight to the rich tradition, cultural heritage ,living style of people and the beliefs of the state. The school magazine
Amity Chronicle was also released on the day.
The spectacular musical ballet delicately brought out the essence of Amithought, which aimed to be a repository of
positive thoughts.
Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Universe and Dr.(Mrs) AmitaChauhan Chairperson, Amity
Group of Schools and RBEF in their address enlightened the children with their gems of visionary ideals and filled
them with spirited thoughts & passion. They lauded the untiring efforts of the Principal in putting together the
thought provoking show .The chief guests congratulated the students for the most fascinating performance. The
presentation not just captivated and enthralled the audience but also received unqualified appreciation from all
quarters.The cultural programme performed by almost 2000children from Classes VI to XI, was a visual feast
lauded by all including the guests for the day .The proceedings came to a befitting end by appreciation from the

Students of once again proved their mettle by winning
accolades at District Interact Leadership Assembly
( DILA’15), organized by Rotary Club at Apeejay
School, Sheikh Sarai, New Delhi . It was a collective
event for all the Rotarians and interactors of Delhi and
NCR region which reinforced the value of “service
before self”. Amitians Prisha Singh and Abhineet
Srivastava were selected as Additional DIR, District
Interactive Representative and ZIR (Zone 9),
Zonal Interactive Representative respectively.
Movie Masti
Students of Jr. School (classes I to VI) took a break from
their daily school academics and activities and went for a
movie on different days between 26th August to 3rd Sep-
tember.
Grade XII students visited Amity University, Manesar and attended workshops in various disciplines
like Engineering – Robotics, Management and Economics, Psychology, Fine Arts, Fashion, Medical-
Optometry, Dietetics and Nutrition, Mass Communication and Journalism, Hospitality - Bakery/ Confec-
tionery/ Food Production, Forensic Science and Chemistry, Languages, Law, Architecture, Biotechnol-
ogy.Great exposure for Amitians for what lies ahead in terms of their career....

Teachers Day Celebrations
A special assembly on teacher’s day was conducted on 4th September 2015, for classes I to V where they paid
their tribute to the late president Dr. S Radhakrisnan. The assembly began with a beautiful poem on teachers. Stu-
dents presented thoughts on education and contribution of teachers. The choir group sung a song dedicated to
teachers. The assembly was addressed by the principal Mrs. Arti Chopra,she wished all the teachers a very happy
teachers day and told students about importance of teachers in child’s life.The As Janmastmi was also falling on
5th September the assembly was concluded with a group dance dedicated to lord Krishna.
Students of class VI to XII started the morning assembly with guru vandana and seeked the blessings of their
teachers,School head boy and head girl garland the portrait of Dr S Radhakrishnan.Thereafter, the students con-
ducted the assembly comprising speech, a poem and an enthralling medley that praised the optimistic vision of a
dedicated teacher.
Students of class XII performed the western song whereas the Girls of class IX presented a fusion dance which
added more colors to the celebration,Students Council members presented a plant saplings to all the teachers as a

nation... Students paid tributes and enacted out emulative instances from his life....

Vasudha/Mathamity-2015
In 'Vasudha/Mathamity' under the aegis of Amity’s Children Science Foundation. The main theme of Vasudha/
Mathamity “Energy: Explore, Harness and Conserve.” and Application of Mathematics in daily life' were organized.
The energy conservation projects were prepared by children during summer vacations were showcased and evalu-
ated by experts during Vasudha/Mathamity round 1,. The shortlisted projects were improved and were presented
during the second round of Vasudha/Mathamity which was organized on 5th, October, 2015 in the premises of AIS-
46.durring the second round there were more than 150 projects which were prepared by the students of class VI-
XI,Students not only prepared each and every project with lots of innovations but they also impressed the judges
with their confidence and presentation.

Carpe Diem- Let’s seize the day with Multiple Intelligence
Our School hosted the second inter school Multiple Intelligence
fest “Carpe Diem- Let’s seize the day with MI”. Mr.Premchand
Palety founder and CEO C Fore was the Chief Guest for the occa-
sion.20 schools from Gurgaon and NCR participated in the event.
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the school
principal, Ms. Arti Chopra and all the eminent judges amidst the
chanting of shlokas followed by Saraswati Vandana. The compe-
titions intro-spected all the 8 Multiple Intelligences viz. Linguis-
tic, Spatial, Bodily ,Kinesthetic, Inter Personal, Intra Personal,
Logical, Musical and Naturalistic. Each competition was judged
on these eight areas.Eminent personalities graced the occasion as
judges and thoroughly enjoyed the performances during the festi-
val in different venues. The competitions like Chorus Rhyming,
Think-Tac-Toe, MI Quest, Radio Jockey, Cloud Burst – a street
dance, Junk Creative, My Dream Nation, and Gandhi Within were
accessed by the judges on the various parameters defined for the
event accounting all the 8 multiple intelligences.
The Chief Guest Mr.Premchand Palety and the Chairperson Dr.
( Mrs.) Amita Chauhan gave away the prizes along with the Prin-
cipal and the respective judges for each event. The judges were
amazed to see the talent and enthusiasm of children at such a

To commemorate Teacher’s day the school organized motivational talk in which Prof Dinesh Singh Vice Chancel-
lor, of Delhi University was invited to interact with the staff members of Amity International school sector 43 and
Amity Global School, Gurgaon,
Presence of Chairperson Dr Mrs Amita Chauhan added more enthusiasm amongst the staff members of Amity
Schools Chairperson Maam praised the staff members of Amity for their hard work and effort that they put in.
