Join us as we celebrate another year of growth for the Bell-ingham Public Schools Foundation. Last year, BPSF support to Bellingham’s Public Schools increased by nearly $20,000 from any previous year. We are proud of this accomplishment and our increasing ability to impact great teaching and learning!

Some of the Foundation’s highlights from the 2013-2014 School Year include:

• Salarysupportforthedistricttohireagrant-writer,astrategicnewposition,whichinthefirstyearalonehasbroughtsignificantnewresourcesforvitalprogramsacrossthe district.• ProgramsupportforPromiseK,aninnovativeearlylearning program to close opportunity gaps among our earliest learners.• Annualbuildinggrantprogramtoall23schoolsimpacting thousands of students.• Asuccessfulendofyearappealtosupportanewinstrumental music program launching this fall in elementary schools across the district.• Ongoinggrowthandmanagementofourinvestmentfund to support future opportunities.

Last year was also a time of transition for the Foundation as we welcomed a new Executive Director and said goodbye and thank you to Gennie Clawson for her dedication and leadership!
