Welcome to the final newsletter for the 2018 school year! Wow! The year has gone so fast, it is hard to believe that Term Four is coming to an end to round off a terrific year! What a terrific year we have had with so many significant successes and, above all, our students achieving great results across the entire curriculum. Throughout the year the children at Kingsley Park have been recognised for their excellent talents and skills, receiving many curriculum achievement and You Can Do It Value awards each week. Congratulations to all of our students for their contribution to the school year – I am so very proud of all of you! Final Assembly Our final assembly is tomorrow at 1:30pm. At this assembly we congratulate and farewell our 2018 Year 6 students who celebrated their Graduation Night on Tuesday night at Mt Erin Secondary College. There were highlights shared along with their messages of wisdom to next year’s Year 6 students. They shared their hopes and aspirations and finished off with two great songs. We are very proud of our students and wish them all the best for their future. Last Day Dismissal Friday 21st December is the last day of school for 2018 and it is approaching way too fast. Children will be dismissed at 2:30pm. Staff leaving At the end of this year we say farewell to; Miss Courtney Mason, Sarah Letho, Mrs Jan Migliore, Miss Debbie Westhead, Ms Niambh O’Reilly, Mrs Jess Emery, Mr Bill Griffin and Miss Melissa Croon. Mrs Donna Fogarty is also taking a year of leave. All of these wonderful staff members have made highly valuable contributions to Kingsley Park over the past years. We wish all of our departing staff success and happiness in their new roles. Reports All children brought home their end of year report on Tuesday. It was pleasing to see so many children performing at quite a high level as well as so many children showing fine growth in skill, effort and attitude. We congratulate all our students on their achievements and successes throughout the 2018 year. Thank you Thank you to all parents for your continual support in helping to make Kingsley Park the best place it can be for our students. In particular I would like to thank our wonderful parent helpers, those who come in each week and at key times throughout the year to offer their time and support. Our KP Group who been amazing and have put enormous effort into fundraising, cooking toast in the mornings and helping around the school. • Sentral Parent Portal App

Flexibuzz will be phased out by the end of this year and all

communications will be sent out primarily through the Sentral Parent Portal App. Using

the Sentral App gives the school the ability to communicate information to each year level, small groups or

individual families, at the school's discretion. It allows for private messaging between parents, students and

teachers. Parents have the ability to report future absences and notify the school of daily absences. Whole

School emergency incidents are communicated through Sentral. Further down the track we will use it to

book parent/teacher meeting times. Please ensure you have the Sentral App on your phone, device or

computer and have created login details.

    safety comes first and

    road rules together with signage
