Basic Rulesof the sport;

We understand that Tennis can be a confusing for newplayers. Before you need to know the rules, you need tounderstand the court.

The outer lines of a tennis court are called double lines, thisis for use when playing doubles only and are called as “OUT!”in singles play!.

•On a tennis court there are 4 boxes, two on your side and twoon the opponent’s side.

•It is important to know that the left side is known as the advantage court and the right hand side is known as thedeuce court!

Tennis scoring is complex, So let’s explain it..•

Scoring in a game goes Love-15-30-40. If a player has 40points and wins another point, he wins the game unless theother player also has 40 points.

•A set is won by the first player to win six games, as long asthey win by two, so they can win 6-4! If the score is 5-5, it cango to 7-5.

•If you win 2 sets in our tournament, you win the game!

How do you score points?.

You must stand on the opposite side of the net to youropponent and try hit the ball over, using a racket. You haveone bounce to return the ball over the net to your opponentsside, within the boundaries of the court.If you fail to do this, you lose a point!
