Hell oI am a Mickael, proud father of two and living in the south of Sweden. I am a storyteller, artist & photographer. When I am not making photos I enjoy travelling. I particulary enjoy doing both if them at the same time.

But most of all, I love telling and sharing peoples stories.

THERE ARE STORIES EVERYWHERE. It’s easy to miss them when time flies. Maybe thats why I constantly get surprised how much more one can see, viewing life thru a camera. One gets easily reminded about small events in life, regardless if that is a wedding close to a quiet lake or on the way to work on a Tuesday morning.

In other words, my job makes me privileged. And happy.

It has been like that for a long time.

I got my first camera from my Grandfather when I was five years old. He was an amazing artist and maybe he saw something in me – something creative. I remember clearly that I carried that camera everywhere. How it felt in my hand. The weight. My finger on the shutter. My first shot was a portrait of my older sister, a crooked image that might have been my most important photo. Because that’s how it all started.

Then, of course, it took a long time before I found my place. I grew up. Learned about everything. Learned about love. The light became more ande more important. Honesty as well. Thats how I finally found weddings. I fell in love with the discharge. The atmosphere. That love in the air. I wanted to capture it.

One can’t capture a wedding with just one image. It’s not possible. It would even be shameful to try. My job is instead, in an honest way, to capture everything thats happening during their day thru the day and tell their story. About their life. Their relationship. Their friends.

As a viewer, you should be able to keep up with what is happening and feel the scents. Feel the warmth.

And, of course, when you get so genuinely close to a wedding couple and can capture them as casual, ordinary people the result will be something they can take with them into the future. You can relate to the images, because they are real. You will always be able to look back on the day and see yourselves.

Thats why I don´t arrange the scene. I want to deliver honest and beautiful images. Together all those images tells the story of your wedding. The true story, if you will.

And yes. The true story is always a better story.

That makes me think about my Grandfather again. That camera. In many ways it was thanks to him that I took my first image and here I am – as a photographer with a job that I love. Happy to be able to tell so many stories, so many weddings.

Trust me: There is always a story to tell.

It begins and ends with you.

No fake smiles. No weird posing. If it rains, windy or if it is cold, we will show it.

Questions & AnswersHOW DO WE BOOK YOU?Get in contact with me to see if I have your wedding day available. If I do, all I need in order to confirm your date is a signed contract. (For international weddings I need a retainer (50% of the accepted quote) to be paid. The reminder is due 4 weeks before the wedding date. )

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO TRAVEL TO OUR WEDDING?I love to travel for weddings. The travel fee is generally the cost of my flight, 2 to 3 nights accommodation and car rental if needed. So it can actually be a small additional fee to get me to where your wedding will be. I will always provide you with a travel quote when you first enquire so you know exactly what the travel surcharge will be.

MY WEDDING IS IN MÖLLE, DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL FEE?If the location is only a short drive from Helsingborg (30 minutes) I normally do not charge a additional amout. If it’s too far to drive back to Helsingborg the same day, all I ask for one nights accommodation to be covered, two if I have to drive ut tha day before.

WHEN DO WE GET TO SEE OUR PHOTOS?I will have the collection of photographs ready for you to view 8-12 weeks after your wedding date. But if your wedding is early in the season the photos will probably be ready in 2-4 weeks. Each image is individually edited with great care not something to be rushed :)

CAN WE ORDER PRINTS TROUGH YOU? Yes, I have a client proofing website where you and your family and friends can order prints from. You can also take care of your own printing if you wish, but sometimes it’s easier to get familiy and friends to order through the wesite.

DO YOU MAKE WEDDING ALBUMS?Yes I do! There is These are the custom designed books quoted i previous page. Each book is custom designed for each of my clients. You can view some of my designs here.

DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU AT THE WEDDING?Yes, unless you want me to die. I pack some suger with me on wedding days, but if I’m staying for more than 8 hrs I am gonna need dinner with the rest of you. I prefer to sit with your guest, far out on the corner, not to miss anything.

DO YOU WORK WITH SECOND SHOOTERS / ASSISTANTS?I work almost always on my own but if required and depending on the size of thewedding, I can use a second shooter.

DO YOU HAVE CONTACT WITH A CINEMAGRAPHER?Yes. I use mainly one cinemagrapher and I only work with the ones that I think is the best in the business.

HOW AND WHEN DO YOU NEED OUR PAYMENT?I normally send the invoice after the wedding and I don’t have a booking fee for national weddings. But for international weddings I charge 20% booking fee and the rest one month in advance. I am pretty flexible how. Invoice, cash or deposit to bank account .

DO YOU HAVE BACKUP GEAR?Of course, lots of it! :) Both in camera and the archives.

Wedding albumsThere is no better way to remember your wedding than in an album. Therefore I recommend to do something more with your photos. Where you can tell the whole story. The inbetween shots. The details. Your family and friends. Everything that makes your wedding yours. You can not do that with one photo on the wall or in a folder on your computer.

Of course I can also help you with larger prints such as fine art prints, canvas etc.
