COLLEGE OF HEALTH AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCESThis is the largest college on campus and has high-quality, hands-on experiences to match, including innovative opportunities in the Nabholz Center for Healthcare Simulation. Students are engaged in an interprofessional educational environment through collaborative, interdisciplinary experiences. Annually, the college has over 1,000 affiliations with health-related entities where students participate in over 460,000 clinical/internship/practicum hours. COLLEGE OF EDUCATIONOriginally known as the Arkansas State Teachers College, UCA was founded to train teachers in 1907. It’s no surprise that our College of Education is the area’s premier educator preparation college today. We have a rich heritage of helping students develop their sense of passion for being professional educators, making our graduates highly sought after by public and private schools nationwide. COLLEGE OF FINE ARTS AND COMMUNICATIONWe strongly believe in the power of creativity. Our College of Fine Arts and Communication (CFAC) is a supportive community that shares our students’ dedication to artistic, communicative and personal development. That development is further strengthened by our artist-in-residence program, which is the largest and most diverse in the state with a wealth of performances, recitals, exhibitions, film screenings and literary readings. GO GREEK.For more than 100 years, our fraternities and sororities have been growing active communities dedicated to developing leadership, lifelong relationships and a whole lot of fun. Our latest addition is the first phase of Greek Village: five brand-new, on-campus, two-story sorority houses and a sorority community center for meetings and events — with more plans for future expansion. We offer 25 Greek chapters, including eight historically African-American Greek organizations and a new chapter of Phi Iota Alpha, the oldest Latino fraternity in existence and Sigma Iota Alpha, the second Latina sorority in the state.

GO ENJOY. UCA and Conway have plenty for you to see and do. Reynolds Performance Hall and our Student Activities Board attract shows like “Fame” and bring celebrated acts such as Blue Man Group, Ke$ha, Nick Cannon and “Annie” to campus every year. The Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre, the only professional Shakespeare company in the state, makes its home at UCA. Plus, when you go off campus, the excitement continues with great restaurants, live music, boutiques and local culture. You’re always near the action in central Arkansas.

GO BEARS!WE WORK AT A HIGHER LEVEL. AND WE PLAY AT A HIGHER LEVEL.Sports play a huge role in the UCA experience. The Bears are in the NCAA Division I Southland Conference. Our athletic programs draw athletes from around the country and the world to compete at the highest level in 18 NCAA Division I sports with eight men’s and ten women’s teams.

We don’t just compete. We win. UCA has more than 20 conference championships. In the past five years, UCA has seven Southland Conference championships in five sports and has

made more than 10 NCAA postseason appearances in nine sports. And the tradition continues to the classroom where UCA athletes rank first in graduation rates in their conference. In fact, the UCA athletic program has been ranked number one in academics in the state and continues to produce top-ranking student athletes.
